I am new to OBS,
but every time I start my stream it work for a bit but then gives my this message:
Texture--> Map failed: 0x887a0005 0x887a0006

"Your video card or driver froze and was reset. Please check for possible
hardware / driver issues. This error can also occur if you have enabled
opencl in x264 custom settings."

And in the bottom left cornor of OBS it says :
WARING: High encoding CPU usage! Consider turning down settings

I get the same thing whenever I stream Paragon. The stream works for 15-30mins and then it either does one or the other following results :

1) The screen freezes in OBS but OBS doesn't crash and I get disconnected from Twitch. The game doesn't crash.
2) OBS crashes with the message mentioned in the OP's post.

Could not upload the log - it loads forever after attaching the log file so here it is :

I am using the latest Nvidia drivers (372.90).
I don't have any problems streaming other games.
I have tried both OBS normal edition and OBS Studio.
I stream using the x264 encoding at 8600 bitrates.

I am also having the same issue and it just started in the last two weeks (possibly with last OBS update). It will crash with most games but some more often and quicker than others. For example Miscreated will crash almost immediately while Heroes & Generals takes 30+ before it crashes.
I have tried reinstalling and reverting to previous driver versions. I have tried a previous versions of OBS (0.64b) as well as deleting all of my settings and starting from scratch.
I currently use OBS v0.659b and my NVIDIA driver version is 372.90 although after reinstalling an older set of drivers it had the same issue.

Here is my most recent log. I got the error almost immediately after the server launched on Miscreated.

Update: I found a thread on here that has several suggestions. I disabled the preview video for OBS and launched Miscreated for 15+ minutes and it seemed to work. Not sure how long it will work and for every game but it's a start. Although this is not a long term solution. I like having the ability to see my stream preview and it is also how I see alerts.

See https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/texture-map-error-read-this-first.29014/ for additional troubleshooting steps and tips.
