Hey!

I'm having issues with OBS. I'm trying to stream a FPS game but my stream is buffering. Here are my logs apparently there are 2 major errors: https://gist.github.com/7ff7428653096749af04 My upload speed is 9 Mbps and bitrate is set to 3500 so is buffer size. My CPU is an I5 3570 and GPU is R9 280. CBR is checked too. and im streaming at 720p 16:9. Could someone please help me?

It says 7900 not r9 280 lol I don't understand logs other than reading your settings. Try lowering your bit rate to 2500. I have a hard time watching people who stream 3500 it causes a lot of buffering

for 720@30, you only need 2500 bitrate. I hope you aren't watching your own stream. that is not a good judge if viewers are buffering. ask your viewers, if they are then definitely reduce your bitrate. This isn't your fault, its just something that happens with lower view count streams.
also, razer synapse can cause issues with it's in-game overlay, features, or generally injecting in the game. here's what the logfile says about it with OBS:
Code:
WARNING: Another hook is already present while trying to hook gdi32.dll,
hook target is \Device\HarddiskVolume2\Program Files (x86)\Razer\InGame
Engine\32bit\RzDspSrv.dll. If you experience crashes, try disabling the other
hooking application

all R9 200 series will occasionally say 7900 series since most of them are refreshes from that generation. r9 280 the same card as the 7950

Thanks! Yeah the majority of my viewers said it was lagging and buffering. I'll be sure to try this out! So another question... do you think I can stream a higher quality like 1080p? with this bitrate at 30 maybe 60fps? I do have another pc which i could dedicate to streaming too. Same specs apart from GPU is a GTX 560ti Or will twitch only let me stream at 720p because i'm new to twitch?

If its a 3rd person, or low motion game then 1080@30 3000-3500 is best (but based on your viewers, you would buffer. for high motion games, 720@60 looks great and requires about the same amount of bitrate 3000-3500 (actually 3000 can look pixellated at 720@60, but not as noticable due to fast frame movement).
