Question / Help Stream blurs when moving *My bitrate is not low*

Hello everyone,

I wish to start streaming my guild's raids. There's one problem though. When I move my character, my stream quality drastically decreases. It's pretty much just a blur. However, the quality is perfectly fine when standing still. Before anyone says it - my bitrate is at 3000 as well as my buffer size. I have my quality set to 10, but have messed around with it. I'm also streaming at 1920x1080. I've also tried 1280x720, but no luck there. I have a pretty good computer and my internet connection is more than capable. I've had no luck searching for a solution, as most people just say to increase your bitrate. Any help is appreciated!

Here's a recording of what I'm talking about: http://www.twitch.tv/gibsun/b/387493845

My computer specs are:
-i5 2500k @4.4ghz overclock
-radeon hd 7970 ghz edition
-8gb of ram
-1tb hdd
-128gb ssd

My internet connection is: http://www.speedtest.net/result/2627881396.png

Thank you so much!

3000 Bitrate is not enough for 1080p especially on wow. set the preset back to "veryfast" dowscale to 720p, increase the bufsize to 9000 and change the quality to 7

Thanks for the quick reply! Did all of the above and nothing changed. It still blurs when moving. I understand that some blurring is expected, but not to this extent. Especially after watching my girlfriend stream with the same internet, at 1080p with the same OBS settings. And her stream is crystal clear. There's more to it unfortunately. I just can't pinpoint the problem...

Your problem is that your quality is set at 10. When there is movement in the screen, it will cause a blur. Quality at 10 is better if there is barely any movement in the screen, like puzzle games. Reduce the quality to a lower number. The more movement there is on screen, the lower the quality balance should be.

No worries You've lowered the bitrate to 2500 when trying those settings try not to do that.

if you're gonna be moving anything on the screen you gonna have to use alot more bitrate than 3000 for 1080p so 720p at 7 quality is your best shot.
