So, I've been tinkering around trying to figure out why, since overclocking yesterday, my audio had begun to stutter on stream.
Intel i5-2500k was normally set to default everything (Voltages, Base Clock, etc) with a x42 multiplier. It ran fine at 4.2ghz and I would stream with it quite often. Now, I selected a setting to push it a bit further yesterday and noticed when streaming today that the audio would cut every 4-5 seconds.
I threw out a few google searches and found a couple of comments from Jim saying that it normally narrowed down to either a USB conflict, an overclock conflict, or something similar. I knew USB wasn't the problem in this case, and that I had recently pushed a bit further in my normal overclocking just a few hours prior, so I began to troubleshoot.
I pretty much narrowed it down to everything back at default, and when I would but the base clock up (haven't tried every tiny mhz setting) from 100.0MHz then I would get the audio stutter on my stream.
Set everything back to x42 and default and I'm back to normal with no problems.
Hopefully this will help you guys out a bit.
