My stream would constantly lose audio anytime I am steaming live. I am currently using a Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro (v8.6.2) as the video capture device. Audio is outputting from the video capture device source > Use custom audio device > Microphone (Blackmagic Design).
There's really no pattern as to when the audio would stop working, but I tend to notice if I do any type of action on my windows computer (such as going to google chrome to monitor my stream on Restream or opening the ATEM Software Control or opening File Explorer), that's when the audio would stop working but even when I leave the stream idle with no action, the audio would stop as well. The issue seems to be persistent with any versions of OBS (tried 27.0.1 and currently on 25.0.8)
When the audio stops on OBS, I can confirm the audio is still active on the actual Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro device as I do see the audio meter moving. There is no spikes in the audio meter in OBS. The only way I can get the audio back working is to go to the properties of the video capture device and untick the "Use custom audio device" and the audio would start working again.
I have tried updating the software on my ATEM Mini Pro, Windows Computer and OBS software but can't seem to figure out why this keeps happening.
