I've been using OBS about the last year for my church recordings. The issue is that we currently have the fastest internet available at our church, but it is only 5 Mbps download speed and about 0.5 Mbps upload. When church was closed, it wasn't a problem because we could just record the service ahead of time and then I would post it later.
However, now that we are in person again it has been a constant struggle. We have tried streaming with our church internet (mentioned above) and the audio seems OK but the video is very choppy. We have tried both AT&T and Verizon hotspots with mixed results...some Sunday's it works OK (still kinda choppy) but other's it cuts out entirely in the middle of the livestream and I have to start it again and lose the part in the middle. The pastor wants us to live stream at least audio, but wants to be able to post a video later.
Is that possible? If not is there a way to stream only like 360p so it runs more smoothly on our low bandwidth but record it in the full 1080 to post later?
