Question / Help Stream and CPU Lagging from a Great Computer... Whats Up?

Hello,

I've been looking into streaming on Twitch recently with OBS, and I've run into some problems. I've been trying to stream CS:GO with low/moderate game settings.

I've been streaming on 2500 bitrate, 1920x1080 downscaled to 1280x720 at 30fps. From my research, these settings should be good for my setup and connection, but it's still super laggy and freezes all the time. OBS tells me to consider turning down encoding settings, but with this computer these settings really shouldn't be a problem.

Specs:
  • 24GB GSkill Ripjaws X RAM
  • Gigabyte GTX 960 4GB
  • Intel i5-4690K Devils Canyon overclocked to 4.0ghz
Internet:
  • 177 Down
  • 12 Up

Here's a link to a VOD so you can see what the lag was like. https://www.twitch.tv/midnightswiss/v/75741641

OBS Log: http://pastebin.com/CS3kejzx

Hope you guys can help. Much appreciated!
Aaron

Your i5 is struggling to stream at 720p60fps. You stated you use 30 fps however your VOD shows that it's attempting 60.I believe your log is incomplete as well.

Ok thanks. Accidentally put 30 instead of 60. Although, it still lags at 30 fps. My setup should be able to handle it, correct? I'm not
Sure what's up.

Include a clean log with at least 5 minutes of gameplay. Do not use custom launch parameters such as -High or -threads x
