Hi,

So you can record and stream at the same time, is it possible to have the settings stream all audio (mic, game, music ect) but record at the same time but only record the sounds from the game?

Or would it be easier to download a recording software and find a setting in that to just record the game sound?

You will need a rather complex setup with something like Virtual Audio Cable and configure a lot. It's certainly possible but hard to setup.

you can setup VAC with 3 lines,

Line 1 has game
Line 2 has everything else
Line 3 has both

you listen to Line and do an adv. configure in settings in obs for recording and set the audio track to Line 1. so when you stream it has everything recording just has Line 1 (the game) you will have to set your buffers up correctly to reduce audio lag.

I've never heard of VAC before, is it hard to get the settings right so there is no audio lag?

there are plenty of YouTube guides on this matter. I actually paid for it awhile back and it is what I use.

Which VAC did you use?

I tried Dante Via but it doesn't seem to accomplish what I want (as well as not being able to detect game audio hah)
