Question / Help Strange lag!

I'm experiencing weird lag while streaming, but I don't really understand why. Basically, if I play LoL and stream, it makes my lag go from steady 80-100 ms to 160-220 and sometimes higher. However, if I stream with the exact same settings playing dota2, it doesn't effect my latency whatsoever. Steady 80 ms streaming or not. Again, same stream settings.

I have four upload, live in eastcoast usa, and I was using 3300 bitrate 1280x720 downscale output (from 1920x1080 source) 60 fps w/ the ashburn VA twitch server (lowest ping to me).

My specs are (not sure why this would be relevant) :

Radeon 7800, Intel i7 3770k, 16 gigs of ram. Streaming never affected me before, but I did move although I have basically the same amount of upload that I used to.. Maybe very slightly less. I'm just really confused how it can effect LoL so much and not dota2 (or other games I think) at all.

Please help!

It's not really that strange. LoL just uses more network bandwidth than Dota 2 does. If you're getting high ping, that means your stream and the game are competing too much for your internet connection. First try enabling "Minimize Network Impact" in Broadcast Settings, and if that still doesn't help, try lowering the bit rate that you are streaming at.

I understand why i could get higher ping on average between the two games for that reason, but why would streaming literally not effect my ping in other games but does alot in LoL?

I'll try what you suggested, is there anything else I can do? I tried lowering my bitrate somewhat before and didn't notice a difference, I'll experiment with it more.
