Question / Help Strange "jailhouse" effect in preview

I searched (probably not enough) but I didn't see an answer...

When I attempt to stream, it looks like

(apologies for the screen grab, I'm no good with editing tools).

How do I fix this? I'm mostly technologically inept, but want to try my hand at streaming to Twitch using OBS.

(also, is 16.25 mbps down, 1.11 mbps up too slow to stream? That's fast, right? I'm ignorant.)

Try deleting your shaderCache folder in %APPDATA%\OBS

No effect. Same bars.

Edited to add: Rebooted machine, deleted shader cache again, still no change.

My ignorance shows... would the fact I have a "nvidia geforce GT 520" video card matter?

Try updating your nvidia drivers.

Updated. Didn't seem to help, no change in the outcome.

Edit: Cancel that. Another reboot did the trick. Thanks.
