Hello everyone!
I downloaded OBS recently just to record a video and I was successful setting it up using Google so far, but there is one problem Google cannot help me with.
So, the problem is that when I just record a video, the recorded audio sounds terrible, but when I plug in the headphones, the sound becomes as it should be.
I suspect my sound is simply losing its quality, but this problem seems very strange to me and I can't really understand what is wrong and why.
I am recording on Lenovo Y720 laptop which comes with Intel integrated graphics and GTX 1060 and I know there are problems with that, but are these related to audio too?
Here is youtube link which explains what exactly is wrong: https://youtu.be/St5DVcfPWRA
In this video:
0:00 - 0:20 Without headphones
0:20 - 0:40 I plugged in headphones
0:40 - 0:50 I unplugged my headphones
What I have tried so far:
Has anyone encountered a similar problem? Is there a solution? I searched a lot, but I did not even understand in which direction to look.

What I have tried so far:
- Restarting PC doesn't help
- Windows update center says I'm up to date
- Disabled Windows "HAGS". Guide: https://obsproject.com/wiki/How-to-disable-Windows-10-Hardware-GPU-Scheduler
- Downloaded and installed AppleApplicationSupport (both 32 and 64) to enable CoreAudio AAC encoder. Guide: https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/obs-studio-enable-coreaudio-aac-encoder-windows.220/ Seems like it is enabled and working fine.
- Tried to capture all the display and only particular window
- Tried to record with microphone enabled/disabled
- Changed "When Windows detects communications activity:" to "Do nothing"
- Tried adding audio output source manually
- Tried to capture different applications, not only Chrome
- Lenovo laptop comes with Dolby Atmos, so I disabled it. Doesn't help
- Tried to disable all the sound effects in Windows settings for speakers and for microphone
- I don't have "Signal enhancements" feature in Windows, so I can't disable it
- Tried to change recording settings: different encoder, rate control, preset. This also seems to have no effect on audio
- Tried to use different audio recording settings: changed sample rate, channels, bitrate...
- Reinstalled audio drivers, also tried to install drivers from manufacturer's website
