I have an interesting issue I'm trying to troubleshoot. I've recently gone to a dual monitor setup. Both monitors are the generic Onn brand from Walmart. One is hooked up via HDMI, the other is VGA to DisplayPort. The goal is to have OBS/Chat on one monitor and game on the other.
Monitor 1, VGA: Running OBS, Chat, misc web browsers
Monitor 2, HDMI: Set as main display, running game
I have game audio in my headphones, OBS is picking said audio up. Until I click on anything on monitor 1 then it cuts all game audio. I've tested swapping windows around from monitor to monitor, same situation. I am able to play audio from Amazon Music on both monitors and click on the opposite monitor with no issues. The only time I lose audio is clicking on Monitor 1 while I have a game running on Monitor 2. And the only audio lost is game audio. Anything else running is fine. I can't seem to find anything specific online that addresses this issue. The PC itself has the Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio) set to default, OBS has the same device set as well. I've tried both a Game Capture Source, and a Display Source. Same issue.
PC Specs:
Lenovo Legion Y720T
AMD Ryzen 7 1800X Processor (3.60ghz 16MB)
Memory: 16GB DDR4 UDIMM 2400MHz
2TB HD w/ 256GB SSD
Graphics: AMD RADEON RX 570 4GB
Any insight anyone can provide would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
