I need help. Running Gopro to OBS Studio via HDMI. I cant seem to fix the "Stop Motion" when recording? I know all is fine with Gopro and cable, i have tested it on my tv, all looks great. But something is not correct in OBS setup maybe? I have tested for 3 days now. Any good advice? I must have missed something Mayne?

How does the HDMI signal enters into your OBS pc? Hdmi grabber card? If so, which one? Does it work with its own bundled software?

Please post a log with your issue! Here's how...
OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...

Yes, I use Gopro8 with Media Mod, it has HDMI output, then over to Hdmi grabber card into powerfull laptop.
This is the Log file from today. Settings are as recommended from youtube tutorial. But I have rum it on lower settings, and still have the StopMotion problems :(

Great step forward with the logfile, but it contains no recording session.
Please make a test recording over two till five minutes, then stop, then close obs.
Then reopen obs and use the menu in top to "upload last log" or something similar. The log from the last run then contains information about your recording session including info, what may gone wrong.
What we can see from your actual log above is that obs is moaning, that there is still something fundamentally wrong with your camera capture:
Did you tried the grabber card by another software (bundled one or vlc player)?
And last question for today: Is your output size (1096x616) choosen by intention really? It seems quite unusual...
