Stingers being weird

ok so i got a stinger for fun and got it in obs ok. but when I switch scenes the stinger will play and end but then wait on the other scene for a sec then switch. idk why pls help

Sounds like you have the transition point set too late in the stinger's properties.

Whatever the appropriate value for your video is. We can't tell that, because it depends on what video you're using as a stinger transition. The value tells OBS at what point in the video you're using is when the screen is fully covered, so to swap scenes then.
