Stinger/Transition sound issues

I have a stinger for my transitions, and it has sound on it. Like the first issue, I have been unable to pin point what triggers it. But when I transition, there is a wicked staticky sound, sorta like feedback, that plays for the first second or so. Similar to the first issue, my work around is to go into the properties for the stinger, click "Browse" for the stinger file, then navigate to the same exact file, and hit save. This completely fixes the problem for the rest of stream.

Also, there is sometimes some crackling when the stinger plays that isn't present in the resource file. This crackling *usually* isn't in the game sound. A while back I went and made sure everything was set to the same sample rate: 48000 Hz. I set everything to 1 channel 16 bit when possible. One of my sound devices is set to 2 channel 16 bit because thats the only option. But everything is 48000 Hz.

Any ideas what is causing the issue?

A few things to try, to remove the cautions on your log file.

In your current Profie setup
* Enable Browser Hardware Acceleration (settings > advanced > Under Sources)
* You have multiple capture sources on the same scene (Display / Game), separate each into their own scene.

Have you tried a clean Profle, just create 2 blank Scenes and then tested the Stinger?

I fixed the hardware acceleration issue. I am not able to fix the other; Its my capture card for my 3DS XL. It captures both screens in one window, and I need to split them apart for my layout, hence 2 capture sources. However, I highly doubt this is the issue; this stinger issue happens most notably on my Console scene, not the scene with 2 capture sources. If you know of a better way to do this, I would hear it.

I haven't heard the staticy noise in a while. So maybe I fixed it. But there is still crackling that is present when switching scenes, even with the fresh profile.

Greetings!
I come with a conclusion to this problem.
This has to do with the "Monitoring" feature of OBS. If you were to set "Monitor Off", and hit Start Recording, change scenes, and you will find that the audio plays just fine. Mine has been crackling- and I have tried everything from changing audio bitrates, volume, audio fade and crossfade, .mov and .webm, nothing has changed the fact that it crackles and pops.

Please, let me know if this is the case for any of you as well! If I return, it means my stream viewers hear the crackling noise. If I do not- you can be assured that it is only a monitoring feature, and not heard upon normal output!

Knock on wood, but I think this issue was a feedback issue with another device connected with a low quality cable. Once I fixed that, the issue seemed to go away.

That being said, I need the monitoring feature active to hear my game.
