Question / Help Still loosing FPS with OBS 21.1.2 just open

Hi I have tried to update it manually, to uninstall, reinstall and update it, to clean everything in OBS, but the problem is the same. Whenever I play (mainly Rocket League or more recently tested it with Viscera Cleanup Detail) just opening OBS causes my in game FPS to go from 60+ to 25-35.

I noticed that hiding the preview (using right click and unchecking "activate preview") doesn't change anything but clicking the "eye" icon next to the source "screen capture" fixes it. Otherwise nothing seems to affect the issue, putting game graphic options to the lowest has no effect.

It worked fine until the last windows update but I'm not sure if there is a correlation since updating OBS manually seems to have work for other users.

Sorry if something is unclear English isn't my first language, just ask for clarification if needed.

Here is my last log:

Thanks for any answer.

I assume you're on a laptop, my guess here is you need to switch to your Nvidia gpu.

Thank you for your reply, disabling Game dvr and Game bar didn't change anything.

However switching to my Nvidia GPU could very well be a solution saddly I'm new to OBS and didn't dive deep into the settings in fear of doing something bad.

I don't know how to switch GPUs and the tutorials I found or either unclear or not fitting my situation (or in an english that is not understandable by me). I tried switching the encoder from x264 to Nvenc but it didn't change anything in the log or on my ingame FPS. I'm sure there is a simple tutorial somewhere but I didn't find it. So how do I switch to my Nvidia GPU?.

Also you assumed right I forgot to add the information.

EDIT: Nervemind I figured it out after thinking for 2 seconds, I faced other problems but ended up fixing them one by one (except that I can only capture in windowed mode, screen capture = black screen) and now it works fine (at least without streaming for now). It was the wrong GPU thank you for your help.
