Question / Help Still having color loss with color format RGB & libx264rgb qp=0

What I did:
1) I have OBS's "Settings-Advanced-Video-Color Format" set to "RGB"
2) I have selected libx264rgb with Video Encoder Settings set to "qp=0"

What I get:
(see attachement, upper two are direct screenshot, lower two are extracted from recorded video.)
Most notable parts are those green bars, grey edges kind of "blends in", same happens to letter "Lv" on the left side.
Not so noticeable but over all color is not so correct as well (darker than original, but much better than default YUV420 though)

So, how can I get a true lossless recording? (If I understand correctly, x264 shoud produce lossless result when qp=0, is that true?)

Did you also set the other color settings?

Well, seems unrelated but I did set YUV Color Space to 709 and YUV Color Range to Full, not making a difference though (as I expected)

Or is there any other settings related to color that I didn't find?

I think, you need to check your viewing conditions first. Try this: https://obsproject.com/forum/resour...t-color-range-settings-guide-test-charts.442/

Never thought about that! Thanks!

I tried install other media players, VLC still gives me a incorrect result (BTW, VLC reports my video being 800x482, but in reality it is 800x480) MPC-HC gives me the best quality playback - identical to screenshot.

Guess I trusted my video player too much (well, it didn't give me any problem before). The video is lossless after all. Better dump those two crappy media player...
