Question / Help Still a bit choppy even with downscaling and bit rate adjustments

I am @ 720 with 30 FPS, but still have some choppiness in the progression. I have a twitch server ping viewer, to see which one is best at that time, and usually would be Dallas, TX as my best bet. I have done this many times before, even with some fluctuations in net speed, still does not seem to stay smooth. Any suggestions or ideas?

What is your upload speed?

Try lowering your max bitrate and buffer size to 2000 or even 1600 if it is around 5mbps.

Also, keep in mind, when downscaling, you are using your computer's cpu. Try to input the resolution you output if possible (ideally if you are using a capture card to record).

You may have to lower some in game settings and enable vsync/cap the framerate. If the game and OBS are competing for GPU time, you can run in to rendering issues.
