Question / Help Steam Group Voice Chat in Stream

Hello,
I am using steam group chat to talk with the people I am playing with while streaming but I can't get their voices to come threw onto the stream. Anybody know how to make this happen? I have TS as well, I haven't tried to use it but I prefer steam group chat. Any help would be appreciated.

hmm, that's odd. there voices should be playing out of the default sound output device which is the same device your game is playing on so if obs is picking up your game, it should be picking up your friends voice. how are you capturing audio now?

i use a headset to stream i just changed desktop audio device from default to the headset to see if that would work.
