Question / Help Static-like screen showing up?

Forgive me if this isn't a problem with OBS itself, but I figured it would be best to ask here first. I often record gameplay more than stream it, so this is a recording issue. When I record a file raw, it's fine, but when I place it into Sony Vegas, occasionally it will display a static screen. Here is a picture of what it looks like.

Oddly enough even a screenshot of the image saving shows a regular picture of the recording without the static, but it's been showing up in my videos after editing, so it's a major issue for me. This hasn't been happening until the past month, so I'm wondering what could have caused this. I think the static comes up whenever there is buffering, but I could be wrong about that.

I'd post a log, but it seems there is a character limit that I would pass. I'm not quite sure what else to do, so if I missed something or the problem is not solvable here I apologize.

Do the files play properly with a normal video player?

After I render it, no. But before I do so, any buffering shows up normally without the static.

And thanks to the mod who edited my post and removed private information. I had no idea it was there.

I feel like it may be codec-related with your video editor program. Vegas normally should work fine. You may need to update your windows codecs though.
