Question / Help Starting the stream fails

Can't start the stream. Here's the log:

That log doesn't show you pressing the start streaming button.

May be incorrect log. I used the "Upload last log" button.

What encoder are you trying to use?

(It is the only option in encoders list)

It looks like an antivirus ate components of OBS. What antivirus do you have?

ESET NOD32 10.1.235.1
Should I try to reinstall OBS?

with nod32 temporarily disabled or temporarily uninstalled

Uninstalled OBS, turned off antivirus, then downloaded OBS installer from the site and installed again, but got the same error.
I also downloaded ZIP archive and compared file list - all files seem to be in place...

What output mode are you using in settings - output?

Try creating a new profile from the profiles menu.

Could you explain what was the problem?

The encoder that was selected in the old profile no longer exists on your system, so it was throwing a fit.
