Question / Help "Starting the output failed"

I just downloaded OBS for Twitch. And it's capturing the correct screen that I wanted it to! However, when I press "start streaming" says:

"Starting the output failed. Please check the log for details.
Note: If you are using NVENC or AMD encoders, make sure your video drivers are up to date."

Looks like that graphics card doesn't support the NVENC encoder. Go to Settings -> Output and change the Encoder option to either x264 (recommended in terms of quality) or QSV (Intel QuickSync Video).

Updating drivers will not work - your graphics card does not have the chip required for NVENC.

Make sure you change the Encoder away from NVENC (I recommend x264) for both Recording and Streaming in Settings -> Output.
