Question / Help Starting the output failed error

Hi, I just installed OBS. My video drivers are up to date. I have a Geforce 930M graphics card. I click on 'start recording' and get the above error. Help please. Thank you.

You probably have the encoder set to NVENC, which you can't use with your GPU.

Okay, if that's the problem, what is the solution and how do I implement it?

You change your encoders in settings - output to something that is NOT nvenc.
