Hello,
I am trying to stream to two places (Facebook and Instagram) at the same time without any third party software or nginx using the method detailed in this thread (https://obsproject.com/forum/resour...ns-simultaneously-with-obs-without-nginx.788/), where you stream normally and set up the recording to stream as well. The streaming works fine, but when I try to start recording, I get the "Starting the output failed" error. I made sure to update my video drivers as well, but it still gives me the same error. I don't know what to do. I've looked at other threads and can't find anyone with a similar issue.
Other (possibly) important details:
- Laptop: HP EliteBook 840 G3
- Graphics Card: Intel HD Graphics 520
Here is a log:
Also, I'm fairly new at this and I don't know that much about OBS, so I could be missing something basic.
While I'm at it, I might as well bring up a couple other issues that I have been experiencing.
1) After I get the "output failure" error, If I try to change any of the advanced output settings, OBS crashes.
2) As of today, every time I open OBS, it tells me OBS is already open and I have to click launch anyway, even though OBS is not open, even when looking in task manager.
I'm not sure if this is the right place to put these, but I figured I might as well.
Thanks in advance
