Question / Help Starting Output Failed. (Please help)

Up until yesterday I was able to both stream and record at the same time through OBS, now when I try to do so I get an error. I believe there may have been a Nividia update on that day but I'm not certain.

Looks like something is using your GPU memory, check no other apps are using NVENC and/or try closing programs using the GPU.

Of course it could also be an NVIDIA driver issue, those definitely happen from time to time.

I just did another test and very little of the GPU memory was being used. I just tried reinstalling the drivers and that hasn't worked either.

I don't even know what that means?

But I'm using the same session of OBS, just recording while I'm streaming so I can have all the footage for editing later.

I mean, try to set other encoder for recording (x264, for example).

The card is limited to 2 HW encoding sessions.

OK. Then video driver rollback is only the option (maybe DDU tool required).
