Question / Help Starting output failed error HELP

whenever I try to use stream I get a message saying "starting the output failed. Please check the log file for details. Note. If you are using NVENC or AMD encoders, make sure your video drivers are up to date" what does this mean and how can I fix it?

I am not sure i understand what this means. I have used OBS for 7 months. Why is it suddenly saying this now? is there anything i can do to fix this?

Like I said, you need to install the latest drivers for your NVIDIA GPU.

If you still get that error you do not have the latest drivers from NVIDIA.
