As several people have experienced, the StarTech StreamCatcher app stopped working because it's a Flash-based app.
So I downloaded OBS, and in an attempt to have it connect to my StarTech PEXHDCAP PCI card, it doesn't see it at all.
Of course StreamCatcher saw it and it worked well.
I attached the log file, and as I scan through it, several things failed.
This brings up a related issue. Windows Defender blocked a file from being installed during the OBS installation because it said the file was a severe (Trojan Horse) threat.
I don't even know where to begin. You can see below it's not showing up in the existing Video Capture Devices.
