Start/Stop Recording Display

Hi.
I'd like to request some kind of display that pops up, or even a quick sound that plays when you start and stop recording. Sometimes, when I hit the recording hotkey, OBS won't start recording and I'll have no idea until I 'stop' recording and close my game, only to find OBS has actually just begun to record.

same here. sometimes i need to press recording button several times.

need a quick sound BEFORE the rendering starts so it is not in the actual recording.
 
If they could do that, then absolutely. If not, then it doesn't matter too much since you can just record a small bit extra at the start and end, and cut the part with the sound/text out in editing. :)

After your recording has begun and before it has finished, press the xfinity button on the remote to access the main menu.
Use the left arrow or right arrow button on the remote to navigate to Saved.
Use the right arrow button to navigate to Recordings.
