Question / Help square pixel for 720x576 PAL instead of rectangular

Hello
when recording PAL video signal 720x576 , I got 5/4 for ratio instead of expected 4/3 . the only way I found to get the right form factor is by using 768x576 video format
all measured using Mediainfo software

Same problem here, I'm capturing old minidv and can't choose for square or anamorphic pixel, so the aspect ratio it wrong when the file is played.

You can adjust the bitstream pixel ratio after recording using ffmpeg or a similar tool. OBS always records square pixels as it's designed for modern progressive video formats.
