Question / Help Spotify keeps changing source all the time

Hi all.

I've only been streaming a few days and seem to have most of the settings fine however I am have one problem.

I like to use Spotify for my viewers on Twitch to listen to random music I play. It works fine for 1 track but as soon as the next track should start from my playlist OBS seems to change the source from Spotify to any random website I have open. Therefore this obviously stops the music playing.

I then have to go into the scene on OBS and select Spotify again.

Is there any way I can lock my source in place so it doesn't change from Spotify if I click on a website?

This is how it's set up at the moment ....

Game Capture - and then Spotify selected from the drop down box in the "select application section"

I also use Snip to give me a "now playing" text on my screen if that makes any difference.

Any help would be great as this is driving me mental lol

Spotify is not a game, you cannot capture it using game capture. Game capture sources do not capture audio.

I'm even more confused now then as it has been working and playing the music over the stream. It just flicks to different applications every so often and I have to switch it back but then the music comes through the stream again.

May I ask what the best way is to play music over a stream?
