Question / Help Spotify and Window Capture

Just wondering is this an issue with OBS or Spotify?

When I try to capture Spotify with a window capture it just outputs a black box into obs and doesn't show anything within spotify. I've tried different settings within the window capture properties page and nothing seems to make it work.

Spotify seems to have trouble with Window capture. I believe you have to disable Aero to capture it at all.

Instead I recommend using something like this or this to display song names on stream.

I'm using Windows 8, I thought they got rid of Aero?

Ah, then perhaps try Monitor capture instead of Window capture. If that still doesn't work, the it's a problem with Spotify.
