Spinning webcam

Hi, is there a way to make a source spin? I don't mean to rotate it once or only on certain transitions, but to have it spin continuously.

I don't believe there's any turnkey method for this, but I'm pretty sure you could do it with a LUA script fairly easily.

Is there a currently existing script, or am I going to have to break out the 'ol AP computer science textbook?
