Bug Report Specific Delay of Microphone or Camera

There was a syncing issue that seems to be fixed with the latest versions, but there is one more issues that's similar yet different.

What happens to my computer when a lot of things are happening at the same time is that is takes a second to "rest" and then continues.

I've looked into the matter and I believe it's my HDD's fault. Too many things are trying to take action at the same time and it can't keep up so there's a noticeable "freeze".

Think about me starting Dota 2, and my camera is just coming up as I start streaming - this type of "freeze" can happen.

When this happens, syncing issues between all components that compose of a scene arise.

My suggestion is checking that everything is synced every say - 30 seconds or so, and then re-sync it in case something like this happens. I know this is problematic and I'm not sure how you track if things are synced (I'm not versed in the programming aspects of capture), but I see no other way to make sure everything is synced in case a jump such as this happens - and even though it's mostly at the start, it can happen midcast as well. It's not OBS's fault, and I believe it happens to a lot of people for various reasons.

Thoughts?

Wait, this is 0.452.. The syncing issues are fixed in 0.455+, which is what I thought you said you were using when you said the latest versions. Definitely upgrade to 0.461 if possible.

Oh this is my bad, I had 2 version installed on my comp, the new and old one and something got mixed up.

I wish there was a built in updater so stuff like this wouldn't happen.

Sorry!
