Question / Help speaker audio streaming

hello. im trying to stream the audio coming from my speakers. i have my psp hooked up to my speakers with the red and white audio cable. sound plays fine from my speakers, but when i select speakers(usb audio codec4) there is no sound on the stream. i believe i had this setup working before on a different computer. thanks for any help with this.

Depending on the speakers and how they are connected, the audio from directed connected devices ( your psp ) does not get transferred to the pc, it simply plays via the speakers. If you have a standard set of speakers .. why not just connect the output of the psp to the pc soundcard ? Or if the speakers have a line-out ( or something similar) you could connect that to the pc. Then you can use your pc's soundcard as an audio source.

If your speakers have a usb cable to connect to the pc.. then list what kind they are and perhaps there is a way to transfer the audio.
