Bug Report Sources disappear when alt-tabbing

Hi,

I have used OBS for a while and have never had issues. I just upgraded to Win 8.1 pro 64bit and the newest stable OBS 64bit. I have my game capture as global source using OBS and an overlay of specs that is a monitor sub-region capture also in global sources. When i have a game minimized, (alt tabbed) the stream shows both scenes perfectly. When i go back to the game, my overlay disappears.

Any help would be great. (This happens to all games)

Is it a separate monitor you're capturing?

No sir, single display.

Then it's understandable. If you go into a fullscreen game while trying to capture the monitor the monitor capture will fail because the fullscreen mode application is overriding the display. There's nothing you can really do about it apart from using window capture instead (which I recommend)

Weird, it always worked before, I cannot do a window capture as the stats are on my desktop via rainmeter.

well windows 7 operated a bit differently -- windows 8+ uses a special capture for monitor to increase performance that doesn't work when fullscreen applications are active.
