Question / Help source - input audio capture - input selected - not receiving audio input

OBS 24.0.2, osx mojave 10.14.6,
in the source box, I choose input audio capture, name my input, then OK - then I choose the device I want.
I speak into the microphone, my input meters for my microphone move like normal (I use this microphone all day, every day).
However, in the audio monitor, the meters do not move - at full volume.
When I record, the video records fine, but zero audio.

I don't know how to troubleshoot - fix this.

Afraid not. From what I see, this is only a 2 channel device, so setting it up as stereo should absolutely get you input. I don't have this hardware to test myself unfortunately.
