This is a recent issue over the past couple weeks. I thought it was my headset, then I thought it was my monitor, but now I'm pretty sure it's OBS because it always happens with I open a game when I have OBS running. It's a really frustrating issue. I thought by upgrading to Windows 10 that it fixed the issue but it didn't. Everything was running fine until a new update for OBS came along and I went to stream and of course it started acting up again.
What will happen is I open a game, start OBS and the sound just goes out. I have to exit OBS and the game and restart my game for the sound to come back. I can't stream and play a game. My Spotify also goes out. Can anyone help me with this? I'm losing my mind with this issue. I'm tired of the retarded answers I get. Well did you try your headset in a different USB port? Did you unplug it and plug it back in? did you update the drivers? I tried everything I could. Is there an earlier version of OBS I can try to see if it's the newer version doing it? It's completely uninstalled at the moment.
