Question / Help Sound Sync Issues - YT Gaming.

I've been using OBS exclusively for streaming content to YouTube Gaming in 1080 res.

Set up was a breeze and I love the software, but I'm having on-going sync issues with sound.

The YT - Gaming stream starts fine, but as time goes on the game & mic audio gets further and further out of sync. In the below video if you go to 1:32:30 where the ship drops out of supercruise, you don't hear the sound effect for that for 33 more seconds.

Obviously this is causing issues. The below video is set with:

In advanced, set "Force desktop audio to use video timestamps as a base for audio time"
x264 CPU "veryfast"
Checked "Use multithreaded Optimizations" - Process Priority Class is "Normal"

Hardware:

PC System Specs:
- AMD FX-8350 8-Core Black Edition CPU @4.2GHz
- Zalman CPU Cooler CNPS14X
- 32GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 RAM
- MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4GB video card (No overclocking)
- OCZ RevoDrive 240 GB PCIe SSD
- ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z AM3+ Motherboard

Internet 25MB down / 5MB up. Stream uploads show in the green on the YT site.

I'm at work and do not have access to the log file, but can include that if needed when I get home.

What I'm going to do when I get home is downgrade the stream to 720p and see if that helps. It's the only thing I can think of at this point.

Any ideas welcome. Thanks guys and gals.

Reduced the resolution on my stream last night to 720 and I still have sound sync issues.

I do have a lot of "RTMPPublisher::SocketLoop: Stalled for 1694 ms to write 434307 bytes (buffer: 0 / 438272), unstable connection?" messages in the logs and I wonder if upping the buffer would help.

I have lots of HD space. Will a much larger buffer (several hundred thousand KB) help?
