Question / Help Sound stops and video playback stops slows down when opening / running OBS

Hey guys. Like the title says I'm having this weird issue of when I open OBS, any sound playing from the desktop (from youtube, spotify,etc...) stops, I hear a crackle sound and also video playback on any website either stops or slows down to around 10 fps. Once I close OBS, everything goes back to normal instantly.

I'm running windows 10 and the latest OBS version as of this posting.
