Just wondering what the scoop can be on this. I tried increasing the bitrates in the settings for audio and it still sounds like I am listening to myself over a telephone in the recorded file.
Check the Windows settings for your audio devices and make sure they haven't been mistakenly set to 8Hz mono. A recent Windows update resulted in this unwanted change for some users.
