Sound on "Video Source" option

I am trying to use a video was sound on OBS by importing it using the Video Source option. Within OBS, I can see the video but can't hear the sound. When I finish and play the finished product, the sound is there so at least that much is good. But still I would like to hear it as I am recording it. Any ideas?

What you are looking for is called "monitoring" (you monitor what the output is playing). In the audio mixer, open the advanced settings and enable monitoring for the video source.
