Question / Help Sound not recording!

Every time i try to record with OBS it doesn't record the sound through windows. it says everything is fine and when i stream everything is fine but when ever i record it doesn't capture anything.

Perhaps you can't hear the sound with the media player you're using to play the file with? You need the proper codecs. Try using VLC media player for example to check and make sure it's working, because that comes with all the required codecs.
