Question / Help Sound Help

Hey so I am having a problem with my sound. So I would like my stream to hear me talking from my mic and listen to my music which is playing from grooveshark.com, however I don't want them to hear all the in-game sounds. Can't figure out how to mute the game sounds without me not being able to hear them also. So basically I want to hear the game sounds but not them.
 
Filtering out specific sounds from the system is difficult, and requires VAC ("Virtual Audio Cables") to accomplish, currently. Unfortunately that's a non-free solution, so I definitely don't like having to tell people that's their only option. I want to make my own, but I unfortunately don't have time to do so.
