Hey, I just recently setup TwitchAlerts for my OBS. I use the CLR Browser Source Plugin to capture the window that shows the animation/sound for followers/subscribers/donations.
My issue is that when i went to test if the app works, everything appears fine with the exception of me hearing the follower sound twice. I tested it through preview mode and live mode to see and the sound still goes through twice.
Sorry if this is hard to picture but basically: I am streaming. A person clicks follow and within a few seconds that follower is announced through the TwitchAlerts window. It is accompanied by a small picture and a small sound clip. The soundclip from the app plays which is normal. But then the soundclip plays again through OBS(this is in preview mode, not sure if this is normal so forgive me if this is supposed to happen). I basically wanted to know if it is possible to make sound not come from my OBS. I'll try to replicate the issue again and link a video of it.
Update: I got the sound to stop double playing by using the TwitchAlerts app with a normal window capture. Apparently the CLR Browser plugin causes a small delay between when the notification shows up and when it plays in OBS. Now I have another problem where the text/image of my notification does not show up at all even tho I defined the regions in the window capture settings.
Update2: Nvm, I got everything working.
