Question / Help Sound Delay?

So the other day, and recently, I started streaming again. One of my viewers noticed that there is a sound delay coming directly from the game itself. The game I was playing, which I doubt has anything to do with it but just for example purposes, was League of Legends. For example what was happening was, I'd auto attack something and then the sound of contact was coming through moments after the shot had already made contact with the enemy. I'm not sure why this is happening and I'm not to keen on the OBS settings to try and figure it out myself. Thanks for reading the thread and if there's anymore required information needed just ask and I'll see what I can give you.

Not sure either without the logfile from that game...

two things that are indirectly responsible for this to occur.

1. your resolution you are streaming at is to high for your CPU. this means it would be better to downscale so there is 0 encoder lag and less than 1% of duplicate frames.

2. the bitrate you are using is the default 1000 which will look absolutely horrible at 1050p 30fps. so there is another reason that you shouldn't be using the high resolution to stream at.

Recommendations:
1. downscale with bilinear filter to around 720p (might be like 700p, I cant recall).

2. bitrate would be better at 2000 if you have the upload speed to do this. dont base this off speedtests since those are useless. use this tool for your region and post screenshots of the results. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/tech-support/478845-twitchtest-twitch-bandwidth-tester

I say these are indirect issues because your streaming at 1050p will cause encoder lag which will sometimes cause the offset between audio and video.

I'm not exactly sure how to change the settings, when I first set up the obs I had a friend do it for me. How do I do step 1?
