Question / Help Sound and MIc problems

Hello, I've had problem with my mic since the day i started streaming and that makes me unable to use skype/commuicate with viewers because they cant hear me. I've tested my mic and it works as it should, can talk to people on skype/Dolby etc but the viewers will only hear the person I talk to wich sound pretty wierd i guess? Anyhow, I have chosen the right mic in the settings, maxed volume on my mic(even on my computer) but nothing helps... I read somewhere else that if you lower the sound it can help but nothing changed. If you have ANY clue about what the problem can be, please let me know!

Now to the other problem, to the day up to now, the music/sound that I'm playing while streaming have been working properly but now it's just sounds messy. Like TONS of bass and you can't hear the person "sing". The way i hear the sound is just as before by the way. And oh, I haven't changed a single setting, just were like that when i woke up today. So yeah, a little help with that wouldn't be wrong ;) Thanks on forehand!

Is the mic data coming through at all for the stream? Does mic data "stop" when using skype? I'm confused.

As for the bass thing, not sure. Probably just a setting somewhere in windows. OBS just reads from your mixer, so it isn't doing anything to your audio data to cause that, that's how it is before it reaches OBS.

By the way, there's no need to bump your thread -- new threads/posts in threads are automatically marked for us, so we see them regardless of their position. If we don't answer, it's because we haven't logged in and checked new posts yet (I wasn't able to spend time with it yesterday myself), or (in rare cases) don't have anything to say/add to a thread. I always try to answer as many as I can to help out.

People on the stream can NEVER hear me but the person im talking to can hear me IF im talk to him in skype. By that said, no, the stream can never ever hear me.

Okay, then your mic sound is probably too low. If needed, use "mic boost" in audio settings to boost your mic. It sounds like your mic input levels are just low. Skype and most programs usually automatically adjust the levels automatically but OBS doesn't currently have such a feature, so you have to use the options in audio settings to manually adjust it.
