Ok, unfortunate since I enjoy cpu bound games - but ive found that I can capture most windows if I disable hardware acceleration everywhere I can.

The one big caveat thats stopping me from screaming about obs from the rooftops is the desktop capture. Wont work. Period. This is what will allow me to capture things that I cant capture due to hardware acceleration etc.

Let me describe my setup. 3x1 monitors in surround. 1 accessory display. 2 gpu's in SLI. (all monitors connected to the top GPU fwiw)

Anyhow, ive tried everything I can think of within OBS. Ive googled until this point. Its beyond me now.

Here are logs of me opening OBS. Trying to desktop capture the surround display, and then seperately the accessory display. Hopefully it helps.

Thank you for your time!

that sounds like a terrible option. gaming at 4680x2560 isnt really possible with any 1 of todays cards. TBH if it were, i wouldnt be using 2 cards.

course going with a bunch of displays was done under the assumption the technology would be mature and supported and boy has it just threw problems at me left right and center.

Obs seems to work fine with sli in all instances EXCEPT display capture.

I can capture a gaming window which is done without SLI. I can capture a game fullscreen, which is done with SLI. Just the desktops evade me.

I think it has more to do with the multiple monitors than anything. Will have to wait to see from the powers that be i imagine.

ty for the reply
