Question / Help Sony Vegas Pro 13.0 has performance issues with my OBS files?

Ok, so I record gameplay and I record it with multiple audio tracks (one for gameplay, one for skype, and one for my microphone.) I also have one video track (the gameplay). These are all outputted into an mp4 file which I then open in Sony Vegas Pro 13.0. However, I am having some serious issues. Whenever I open it in Vegas there are some serious performance issues. If I press spacebar to preview it there is typically about a 2-3 second delay before it starts playing and if I try to move to a different point in the video it takes about the same amount of time to start playing that point of the video. It's really very annoying and I don't know what's causing this. I also noticed the CPU usage is very high during this. My OBS recording settings are:

.mp4

Encoding: NVENC H.264

Original resolution (1920 X 1080)

Rate Control: CQP

CQP: 23

Keyframe Interval: 0

Preset: High Quality

Profile: High

Level: Auto

Use Two Pass Encoding: Yes

GPU: 0

B-Frames: 2

Do the files play correctly in a video player like VLC?

If so, the issue isn't with OBS, but with your editor. Try reaching out to their support for help with Vegas.

When I play it in VLC it runs a little better but there is still that annoying delay when I move to a different point in the video.

Ok I've figured out the issue. It's with the fact that I have Keyframe Interval = 0. If I change this to 2, then the videos don't lag while I'm editing.

HOWEVER now the videos seem to be choppy and all over the place- they just don't feel as smooth anymore.
