Question / Help Sony Vegas Pro 13.0 cannot read OBS output clips

I'm having trouble getting my mp4 output clips to work with Sony Vegas Pro and I have been spending a while trying to find solutions but they have not solved my issue.

Basically the issue is that any video clip I transport from OBS seems to be rendered in Sony Vegas as loud and distorted audio. I have tried multiple files and file extensions so I know it works with other videos. Other mp4 clips seem to work perfectly but the OBS ones cannot be opened correctly

My current settings:

x264,
CBR enabled
CBR Padding enabled
10000kbs Max bitrate

Very fast x264 preset

My PC has an Skylake i5 6600k processor and an MSI 970 gaming so I'm certian its not my hardware which is the issue.

All other videos and clips seem to work fine with Sony Vegas so I think it might be something to do with my settings in OBS.

I can only test the mp4 outputs from Sony Vegas as the flv outputs are not compatible with Sony Vegas.

Thanks

This is wrong.
You can save to FLV and then remux to mp4 afterwards.

Make sure CFR is enabled and the audio is saved as AAC and not MP3.

In Vegas, make sure GPU Acceleration is set to Off, and that your render settings are set to "CPU Only" instead of CUDA.
