Hey guys,

I'm having an issue with OBS Post-Stream files (MP4) when I import them into Sony Vegas 12 Pro. When I playback the Post-Stream MP4 file using either WM Player or VLC the video runs fine but when I import to Vegas I get distortion towards the middle of the file (see image here http://gyazo.com/92733ce415fd3bb11c937c99e23f211d The video will look fine for a few seconds but then will start distorting like you see in the image above. Again, it looks great playing it back outside of Vegas but once it's imported for use within Vegas it seems like half way through the video goes crazy. Is this an Advanced>Use CFR issue (I do not have this option ticked in advanced settings). Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Okay just noticed something in Vegas. During the parts of the video (within Vegas) that look fine, the frame rate is constant. During the parts that are distorted it switches rapidly between 23 FPS and 29 (and every frame rate in between). This leads me to believe it is in fact a CFR issue. I'm no expert and would like to know ticking the CFR feature will be the solution. Thanks again.

If you want to be able to edit an MP4 in an editor later, CFR needs to be enabled. This is default in the latest version of OBS, but you still might need to enable it manually since you would be updating.
